My husband and I have bought 8 homes in the past 40 years. We can say unequivocally that Jeff Baker is the most... informed and detailed home inspector we have ever used. He is punctual for the appointment and comes well equipped with all sorts of cameras, a set of binoculars, flashlights and gadgets to test the interior and exterior of the home. He moves methodically and slowly as he takes photos to record areas of concern in the extensive written report. This report is completed in a very timely manner and delivered by email. During the inspection, Jeff carefully examines the attic, garage, crawl space; opens every door; tests every outlet, toilet, plumbing fixture — nothing goes unnoticed by Jeff!! The written report is detailed, logical and easily understood. Each area is referenced with photos and contains advice on whether to repair to replace. Jeff is always available by phone or email for additional questions or further explanations. He is knowledgeable about most things, and if he doesn’t know something, can point you in the right direction. If I were selling my home, I would want Jeff to inspect it so I would know what to fix. As a buyer, having Jeff inspect a prospective home gives me confidence that I know exactly what I am getting into. Having a detailed list of what needs to be repaired or replaced provided my husband and me with the means to renegotiate the selling price. Jeff is a true asset to the deal.read more

If you want a ridiculously meticulous home inspector, this is your guy. He includes an awesome detailed report w/... photos. He saved me a lot of money by identifying expensive repairs like mold, exterior stucco issues, and jacuzzi tub repair on my current house.read more
